Welcome artists! I'm the illustrator and creator behind Tails of Friendship. This colouring book has been a lifelong passion project, born from my deep love of art and storytelling.
For as long as I can remember, creativity has been my way of expressing emotions and finding peace. I truly believe there’s no right or wrong way to make art; it’s all about your unique vision. So if you’re reading this, create fearlessly. Someone out there will always love and appreciate what you make.
Like many artists, I’ve struggled with perfectionism. There were times I abandoned projects halfway, afraid I wouldn’t like the result. But even during those moments, I always found myself returning to art, sometimes just a quick doodle or sketch, because creating has always been my safe place. Recently, I’ve made it my mission to simply show up for art, no matter the outcome. Each piece reminds me to trust the process, embrace imperfection, and give myself grace along the way.
When I finally decided to stop just daydreaming about my goals, things really started to click. I wanted to make something that felt fun and meaningful, work I actually loved doing. That’s how Tails of Friendship came to life. I spent 22 full days drawing on my iPad in Procreate, working 6–8 hours a day over 150 hours altogether! Getting that iPad felt like a big risk at the time, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. It really showed me that if you stick with something and put in the effort, you can make your dreams happen.
Colouring has always been a source of calm and inspiration for me, and I know many others feel the same. It’s a beautiful way to slow down, find peace, and reconnect with yourself. If my colouring books can bring even a little bit of that joy to someone else, helping them unwind, heal, or simply smile, then I know I’m fulfilling my purpose. Thank you for supporting my art and being part of this colourful journey.
My Childhood Teddy Bear
I remember this teddy bear so fondly. I was obsessed with the Mr. Bean cartoon, and he had a brown teddy just like this one. I was over the moon when I got my own matching bear!
